Hours: Mon - Sat 18:00 - 23:59Located not far from the busy tourist street of Yongkang, Redhouse is a friendly beer bar with a robust selection of craft beer and Belgian ales.
The long established Shida Road restaurant with the same name, allowed it's owners to pursue a passion in beer with the opening of its second location. Unlike the original restaurant, the Red House on Jinshan road only offers snacks to accompany beer.
Much like the original location, the walls are red and accents of raw wood complete the decor. A steep staircase leads to the second floor featuring additional seating.
This venue exclusively stocks craft beer, and as such the cheapest beers start at $155 and all prices are subject to an additional 10% service charge. While i don't mind paying a service charge for a meal or even a well prepared cocktail, paying extra to have your beer uncapped rubs me the wrong way.
Redhouse is decent little bar that has very good beers. A good selection of beer in an area without many craft beer bars makes 紅館 Red House worthy of a visit.
