Since Chess's relocation to the NEO19 building, the club has continued to feature a number of high profile hip-hop DJ's and monthly events with guest DJ's and producers; however, the vibe and style of the club has become a little more gritty, and a lot more social. Lower booth dividers and no free movement through the main room has made Chess a great place to meet people and to dance. Chess's door price remains unchanged for most events with special events and normal nights costing $1000 for men.
