As the craft beer typhoon continues to blow through Taipei, craft beer bars and bottle shops have popped up in every district of the city.    One great addition to the Songshan district is the Way Home Beer House.  Located just north of Bade Road and not far from Taipei Arena MRT station; if you fortunate enough, Way Home is on you way home from school or work.

Way home has one of the cities best craft beer selections with an impressive range of 400+ varieties on offer.   The prices are very reasonable for both imported and locally produced craft beers.  Way home also has a limited menu of of bar foods to pair with your ale or lager. For those who wish to drink in the comfort of their own home, take-away beer is available at a $50NT discount.

Way Home Beer House has a simple layout with bar seating and a couple of tables in the front.   There is no need for a menu at Way Home as a massive wall of beer speaks for itself.    Although the service seems a bit impersonal at time, browsing the beer selection can keep a beer-lover occupied for ages.

While Way Home may not be on your way home, great beer at good prices is always worth going out of your way for.
