The club formerly known as Club Wax underwent a quick reno and a name change to become the slightly new and slightly improved Box Nightclub.

Not the prettiest or poshest venue on Taipei's club scene, Box benefit's from its location near to Shida University and a rowdy student crowd.

Box Nightclub attracts many university students and expats.  The all-you-can-drink club offers plenty of specials such as a Student Party Fridays, Mini Dress Saturdays, and even Foreigner Wednesdays when all you can drink is just NT$350 for men with a foreign ID (NT$600 for locals) and NT$100 for any women.  Weekend cover charge for males is NT$600 and NT$350 for females.

A wide range of cocktails and shots are available with the all-you-can-drink service but beer is limited to cans of Blue Girl.

Box Nightclub is a bit grittier than the expensive Xinyi clubs, but it’s an enjoyable party scene filled mostly with crowds of students and younger foreigners.
