The Speakeasy is one of only a few Irish bars in Taipei and it is arguably the best. The familiar classic decor of an Irish pub is always welcoming and the Speakeasy is no exception. A friendly staff greets patron and cold beer and a selection of high class pub grub can be had for affordable prices. A necessity of any pub claiming to be Irish, Guinness is served in addition to a full range of import beers and exceptionally mixed cocktails. Wednesday's 8pm - midnight feature specials on Irish beers, whiskeys and creams.
Sports fans can enjoy English premier league games on the weekend coupled with a few games of the oval ball variety during the rugby season.
All-in-all, the speakeasy is an excellent Irish bar in the heart of Taipei. The vibe is relaxed and the staff and regular patrons are a friendly bunch. A pint or two at the Speakeasy Taipei is highly recommended!
